Around the Rink: Q & A with Colleen Murphy

Last week on Around the Rink, Dan Rice and Allie Morse were joined by former NWHL/PHF player Colleen Murphy - who currently plays ball hockey for Team USA. Murphy told us all about the transition from ice to ball hockey, the not-so obvious differences between the two, and how many former teammates she has recruited to join her.

We also found out the details of Murphy’s extensive - and somewhat ridonkulous - travel from North Carolina or Maryland to Buffalo, Connecticut, or New Jersey while she played for the Buffalo Beauts, Connecticut Whale, and Metropolitan Riveters during her four pro seasons.

Around the Rink is a weekly show from The Ice Garden Radio Network, hosted by Dan Rice (@DRiceHockey) and former Minnesota Whitecaps goaltender Allie Morse (@AllieMorse), recorded live on Twitter and available on your preferred podcast platforms the next day; you can subscribe to all of our podcasts at TIG by simply searching for: The Ice Garden.
