Today, the league released the designs for the All-Star Weekend in Boston. Team Dempsey will wear white while Team Packer will wear black. The details on the jerseys are nods to the host city. “The All-Star fonts are adapted from the original Seal of Boston, while the brick pattern was influenced by the cobblestone and brick paths throughout the city,” according to the league’s release. There are also four leaf clovers adoring the jerseys.
The numbers and clovers are gold, which stands out nicely on both. The right shoulder features the player’s regular season team while the left shoulder has the new “5” logo the league has used to signify its fifth season.
They were designed by M Style Marketing, the firm that also redesigned the Boston Pride and Minnesota Whitecaps.
Fans can purchase replica jerseys, or wait and bid on the game worn jerseys starting Feb. 12.
The 2020 NWHL All-Star Weekend is Feb. 8 and 9 at Warrior Ice Arena, home of the Boston Pride. The skills competition is Saturday at 8 p.m., and the game is Sunday at 2:30 p.m.
