The PWHL officially released their list of 167 players that have declared and are eligible to be drafted this upcoming cycle.

In total, 93 forwards, 48 defenders, and 26 goaltenders will be vying for a draft spot in 2024.

Highlighted by names such as Canadian national team star and projected No. 1 overall pick Sarah Fillier, the draft includes players from the collegiate levels in North America, professional leagues across Europe, and even former national team members. All players who declared for the draft had to be deemed eligible to play in the league in 2024-25; those on deals stretching into next year in other leagues without an opt-out clause were not deemed eligible for PWHL contention.

The league previously announced the draft will be held in Saint Paul, Minnesota on June 10 at 7 PM EST. There will be seven rounds in this years draft for a total of 42 selections. Unlike last year, the 2024 draft will not be in the snake format. The draft order was determined by the regular season standings and was not impacted by postseason results. This years order is as follows:

  1. PWHL New York
  2. PWHL Ottawa
  3. PWHL Minnesota
  4. PWHL Boston
  5. PWHL Montréal
  6. PWHL Toronto
