2025 Worlds: How to Watch
Is there a new way to watch the Women's Worlds? It looks like it!
It's time! The 2025 World Championship, hosted in České Budějovice, Czechia, has arrived. The ten top national teams in the world will cross their sticks in their respective group stage play beginning on April 9, 2025, with Team Finland and Team USA kicking things off in Budvar Arena.
How to Watch
As expected, Team Canada's games will be accessible to Canadian viewers on TSN. For fans in the States, NHL Network will be carrying Team USA's games. But, for North Americans, watching games between the European (and Asian) national teams has never been easy using conventional means. Fortunately, there's a new option this year for those who are ready to throw their body clocks out the window and soak up all of the Worlds content they can – the freshly launched IIHF.tv.

As of April 6th, 2025, there are no notes regarding geoblocking in Canada or in the United States under IIHF.tv's section on Territory Terms. Of course, that can change before puck drop. If it does, we encourage you to get sneaky and use a VPN. If that, too, fails, there is always the desperate scramble for live streams on YouTube and other, more nefarious means.
We would also recommend fans check out the blossoming women's hockey Reddit community, which is a great resource to find a link or two to a game. Enough said.
