In this final episode of Around the Rink, Dan Rice and Allie Morse were joined by goaltender Amanda Leveille, who announced her retirement from professional hockey earlier that day. Leveille won championships in the NCAA (3), NWHL/PHF (2), and PWHL (1), and is the NWHL/PHF’s all-time leader in wins and shutouts.

Lev told us about the process that led to her decision to step away from playing the game she loves, how she nearly retired three years ago, the mental battles that accompanied recovering from a twice-broken clavicle, some of her favorite teammates and moments, and answered questions from our super supportive live audience members.

Thanks to everyone who listened to any of our shows, we love and appreciate the support!
