Beauts re-sign Jackson for 2021-22
Buffalo brings back CJ for a second season
The Beauts are rolling right along in free agency with another big re-signing.
Carly Jackson is the third player Buffalo has locked down for 2021-22, as general manager Nate Oliver announced Monday morning. The former University of Maine Black Bear was sensational in Lake Placid, posting a save percentage of .909 and leading all goaltenders in shots faced and saves. She earned nods for Newcomer and Goaltender of the Year as a result.
Off the ice, she has also become a fan favorite with her progressive and often humorous takes on social media.

The now-sophomore also received the NWHL Foundation Award for being the player on her team to most exemplify hockey’s core values on and off-ice. Overall, it’s a tremendous signing for the Beauts, who no doubt look to build their team’s future on this talented youngster’s shoulders.
Jackson joins Marie-Jo Pelletier and newcomer Cassidy Vinkle as the Beauts under contract. She’s the first goalie to sign ahead of the 2021-22 NWHL season.
