CWHL announces first 11 All-Stars
12 more players will be announced on Wednesday.
The CWHL has just announced the first 11 players that will attend the All-Star Game in Toronto on Jan. 20. Twelve more players will be announced on Wednesday. Eight of the players have represented their countries on the international stage.

Representing the Calgary Inferno will be forwards Rebecca Johnston and Blayre Turnbull and goaltender Alex Rigsby. Johnston is currently third in league scoring with 16 points in 12 games played, and tied for first in goals with 8. Turnbull has scored 6 goals in 12 games and is tied for second in points on the Inferno. Rigsby has a 1.61 GAA and a .931 SV% through 8 games played.
Forwards Hilary Knight and Marie-Philip Poulin will represent Les Canadiennes. Poulin leads the league in scoring with 21 points in 12 games played, while Knight has 11.
The Markham Thunder will be represented by their captain, defender Jocelyne Larocque, and forward Laura Stacey. Stacey leads the Thunder with 13 points.
The Shenzhen KRS Vanke Rays will be represented by forward Rachel Llanes and defender Jessica Wong. Llanes has 9 points in 12 games, and Wong has 8.
The sole representative for the Worcester Blades in this first set of players is defender Lauren Williams.
The Furies will be represented by their captain, forward Natalie Spooner, who recently scored her 100th CWHL point. She is currently tied for first place on the Furies with 10 points in 11 games played.
