Founding 4 Podcast Episode 56: Nemesisters
A big injury, a winter storm, a week full of news, and a new first place team
Last Saturday’s game between the Metropolitan Riveters and the Boston Pride may have been postponed due to a winter storm, but we still have a FULL episode of the Founding 4 Podcast for you covering the latest week of the 2018-19 NWHL season.
This week we recap the Minnesota Whitecaps’ two big victories over the Connecticut Whale, we discuss the scary collision that knocked Meeri Räisänen out of Sunday’s game, what the league’s standings look like heading into the upcoming weekend, and a whole bunch of news.
We also answer a question from TIG contributor Nathan Vaughan, who asked which current NCAA underclassmen might be players who play in the NWHL in coming years. Oh, and we coin a new phrase that we definitely need to turn into merchandise or something. It’s pretty fantastic.
We are able to offer comprehensive women’s hockey coverage thanks to our patrons and listeners!
