How to Watch: Dec 15 - 16
Four CWHL games highlight the weekend schedule
CWHL
Saturday, Dec. 15
Les Canadiennes de Montreal at KRS Vanke Rays at 2:30 p.m. China time - KRS Vanke Rays youtube
This is the third game of Montreal’s in China. They lead the series 2 - 0 with a 4-1 win on Wednesdays and 5-1 win Friday.
Based on the time change, this game is probably going to be over by time you read this. But it was a good solid series for Montreal, which saw Ann-Sophie Bettez score at least five goals.
Worcester Blades at Markham Thunder at 7:30 p.m. eastern - Thunder youtube
It’s been an up and down season for the Thunder. They had four straight games against Calgary in which they went 1 - 3, with their one win coming in a shootout. They split a series with the Furies before that and topped Shenzhen two games to one while in China. A series against the struggling Blades should help the confidence boost.
Toronto Furies at Calgary Inferno in Red Deer at 7 p.m. mountain
The Inferno have continued their winning ways even after Shannon Miller and the team parted way. They have the edge 2-0 in the season series thus far with 10 goals to Toronto’s size as well. The Furies have a chance to inch closer to KRS with at least one win.
We're just TWO days away from the historic @TheCWHL game in Red Deer! Tickets will be available at the door at the Gary W. Harris Canada Games Centre, or you can purchase them online and ensure yourself a seat! #WhyWePlay #FemaleHockeyDay
