Canada’s leading the series so far two games to nothing. The last game was in Hartford, Connecticut on Oct. 25 where Canada won 3-2.
It was everything you’d expect from a US and Canada game - high action and high spice. Victoria Bach and Sarah Fillier opened the scoring for Canada in the first period. Cayla Barnes got one back before the period ended. Amanda Kessel tied it up in the second, but it would be Fillier who would score the game winning goal.

In addition, Canada recently wrapped up a three-game trip to Finland. They swept their hosts, outscoring them 17-3 including a 8-0 thwacking in the middle game. Natalie Spooner had a hat trick and newcomer Kristen Campbell got a shutout for her efforts, seeing only 13 shots over the 60 minutes.
