Boston Pride at Buffalo Beauts at 1:30 p.m. — Twitter Game of the Week

Coming into the 12th game of the season for both teams, the Pride currently holds the edge in the standings by a mere two points for second place. Which ever team wins on Saturday gains some important standings ground.

The Beauts have easily outscored the Pride during season meetings at 11 goals to six. Katie Burt hasn’t played great against them either. But the Beauts have lost two defenders since the last time these two teams squared so it will be interesting to see how that impacts them. The Beauts hold the season series edge, 2 - 1. This is the last regular season meeting for the teams.

The CWHL Playoff Race

Montreal has all but locked up their Clarkson Cup playoff berth. Meanwhile, the Thunder are still battling away with Toronto and KRS Vanke Rays for third and four place. Markham has struggled against Montreal but as they proved last season, you can’t even count them out. Victoria Bach is averaging a point per game thus far, a strong candidate for Rookie of the Year.
