It’s the last weekend of NWHL action before the 4 Nations break and woah is it a good weekend.

Sat. Oct. 27

Buffalo Beauts at Minnesota Whitecaps at 6:30 p.m. Central - Twitter Game of the Week

It’s the Battle of the Undefeated! The Beauts take their trip to Minnesota where one team will get their first loss of the season. Buffalo has only played the Whale thus far, which, to be frank, isn’t a great test of where they are. However, they also played Cornell - and lost.

Metropolitan Riveters at Boston Pride at 7:30 p.m. Eastern - YouTube

The Riveters have had quite the interesting schedule; thus far they’ve only played two teams. And that’s not changing this weekend. This is their second match up against the Pride. In the second weekend of the season, the Pride won, 5 - 1. The Riveters are still looking for their first win of the season as well.

After this weekend, all teams except for the Blades and KRS Vanke Rays go on a two-week break for 4 Nations.

Sat. Oct. 27

Calgary Inferno at Worcester Blades at 6 p.m. Eastern

Will the Blades start Lauren Dahm? When will they get their first win? Will someone other than Casey Stathopoulos score a goal for the Blades? These are the questions leading into this weekend’s series which features Inferno’s Kacey Bellamy and Brianna Decker first time against their former team.

Les Canadiennes de Montreal at Toronto Furies at 6 p.m. Eastern - CWHL Watch

The weekend is a big series for the Furies. They’re 3-2 on the season after sweeping the Blades and dropping two of three to KRS Vanke Rays. The games will be a good test for Toronto.

The Furies are also offering free beer to anyone 19+ who wears their rec league jersey to the game, as if going to watch some of the best players in the world wasn’t enough.

KRS Vanke Rays at Markham Thunder at 7:30 p.m. Eastern

This is technically the second game of the Rays and Thunder series. The two teams faced off on Thursday night. The Rays won, 3 - 2.
