Minnesota, New Hampshire PWHPA hubs announce team names
Another two PWHPA hubs have their team names!
The New Hampshire hub will be Team WSF (Women’s Sports Foundation) and the Minnesota hub will be Team adidas. Similarly to the two previous team name announcements, each team debuted their new jerseys.
Team WSF (New Hampshire) have black backgrounds with red trim along the collar and a large white band with a red strip below on the arms. The numbers look to be white with red online. The PWHPA logo is the main crest. The organization’s release notes Women’s Sports Foundation logo and the signature of its founder, Billie Jean King, will also be on the jersey.
Team adidas’s (Minnesota) jerseys are navy blue bases, similar to what last season’s looked like, with lime green bands around the arms that encompass the numbers. The release says they will also have #stickintheground, a PWHPA campaign advocating for the future of women’s hockey.
Only one jersey was released for each team.
We are proud to welcome Team @adidashockey and Team @WomensSportsFdn to the @PWHPA!
