P-Dub in Twenty - Episode 14
Welp, our PWHL playoff predictions were wrong.
Round One of the Walter Cup Playoffs has come and gone. Hearts were broken, upsets happened, and Alyssa and Maya’s predictions were painfully wrong.
In this week’s episode, your hosts start things off by chatting about the Toronto vs. Minnesota reverse sweep where PWHL Toronto went from being a team who looked like they could do a cartwheel into the Walter Cup Final to a team who lost their best player in Natalie Spooner and went on to lose three games in a row.
From there, Maya and Alyssa chatted about the Boston vs. Montréal sweep which was a hat trick of overtime wins for Boston, the Aerin Frankel show, and a disappointing outcome from PWHL Montréal. At the end of the episode, the two talked about the ongoing Boston vs. Minnesota Walter Cup Final in which Boston has a 1-0 lead at the time of recording.
