Moments before the Swiss superstar beat Hensley with a perfect wrister, Minnesota thought they had made history by winning the 2024 Walter Cup on what looked to be a game-winner from Sophie Jaques. After gloves were thrown, tears were shed, and heads had fallen on the Boston bench. A quick goal review would keep PWHL Boston’s season alive and very quickly upset a sold-out Minnesota crowd.
