This afternoon, the Boston Fleet announced they will play two home games at Boston University’s Agganis Arena this season. The first is set for Saturday, March 8, when they'll host the Montréal Victoire at 2 p.m. ET. Then, they’ll face off against the Toronto Sceptres at 7 p.m. ET on Wednesday, March 26. These games had previously been listed as TBA locations on the PWHL schedule.

Agganis Arena holds 6,150 fans for hockey games, which is less than the 6,500 capacity of the Tsongas Center. However, with its location right off the MBTA Green Line in the heart of Boston, the Agganis games will allow fans from the city and south of it who may not be able to make the long, often difficult trek to Lowell.

“We are thrilled to bring the Boston Fleet to Agganis Arena for these two games,” Boston Fleet Director of Business Operations Laura Marie Cancro said in the press release. “It presents a wonderful opportunity to expose fans in central Boston to the PWHL and engage with our fan base on the south shore and Rhode Island.”

Boston Fleet head coach Courtney Kessel also added via the press release that they're looking forward to playing in another storied venue.

“Agganis Arena has a rich hockey history,” Kessel said. “It’s going to be a great, new experience for our athletes to take the ice in another storied venue. For fans who haven’t had the chance to see a game live, this is the perfect chance to take in the fast-paced, highly skilled, and physical style of play our team brings to the ice.”

Season ticket members will be allocated a seat as part of their package. For other fans, two-game packages will go on sale on Friday, January 24 at 10 a.m. ET. Single-game tickets will follow on Friday, January 31 at 10 a.m. ET.
