Less than a month after PWHL New York parted ways coaching-wise with Howie Draper, the organization has found its new head coach in Greg Fargo.
Fargo joins the league from a 12-year coaching tenure at Colgate University, where he led the Raiders to incredible success including seven 20-win seasons, four consecutive ECAC Hockey titles, and a national championship appearance in 2018. Most recently, Colgate had made its second-ever Frozen Four appearance, bowing out in a tightly played game against then-defending champion Wisconsin.
Thank you, Coach Fargo 🏆

He leaves Hamilton with an unforgettable legacy boasting the most wins in Colgate women’s hockey history and four ECAC Championships.
Thank you for the memories, and best of luck in your next chapter❤️ pic.twitter.com/0brrEqcg4W
Under Draper, PWHL New York started strong but struggled mightily, ultimately finishing last in the standings with just five wins on the year. Draper remains on with the organization in a draft advisory role.
