PWHL Seattle has signed their final player of the signing window: New York Sirens goaltender Corinne Schroeder.

The final exclusive signing window pick is in. On Friday, PWHL Seattle signed former New York Sirens goaltender Corrine Schroeder as their fifth expansion player.
The 25-year-old Canadian goaltender signed a two-year deal with the league's newest American team. She joins New York Sirens teammate Alex Carpenter, who signed earlier on Friday.

"I am incredibly honored and excited to be joining PWHL Seattle next season," Schroeder said in the press release. "I can't wait for the puck to drop out West!"
The newest member of PWHL Seattle brings two excellent PWHL seasons with her. In her first year with the Sirens, Schroeder earned a Goaltender of the Year nomination after posting a .930 save percentage. Last season, she led the league with four shutouts. She backstopped the Sirens to all but two of their wins last season, and ranks third all-time in saves with 1,005.
Prior to joining the PWHL, Schroeder was named the PHF Goaltender of the Year and Rookie of the Year in 2023.
"Signing Corinne was a huge step for our team," Megan Turner, Seattle's GM, said in the release, "She brings poise, confidence, and the kind of elite talent every team needs to win, and we can't wait to see her between the pipes for us."

Schroeder rounds out Seattle's five signing period picks, joining Hilary Knight (Boston), Cayla Barnes (Montréal), Alex Carpenter (New York), and Danielle Serdachny (Ottawa).
In response to the signings of Carpenter and Schroeder, New York has added Maja Nylén Persson to its protected player list.
Vancouver has also signed all five of their signing window players.
The 2025 Expansion Draft takes place on Monday, June 9, at 8:30 PM EST where teams will round out their rosters with seven additional players.
