SB Nation’s NCAA Poll: Unchanging Craziness
A few more teams wrapped up play for the semester but we will get a couple more series before everyone is off until the new year.
We have one more set of games before we take a few weeks off. Last weekend brought some major surprises but we had little actual movement in our rankings, though margins have shrunk.
1. Wisconsin (15-1-12), 89 (8) — Last poll: 1
- Last week: L 2-3 v Minnesota (12/3), T 2-2 OT (SOL 2-3) v Minnesota (12/4)
- Coming Week: @ Bemidji State (12/10, 12/11)/
While the Badgers still sit atop our poll this weekend their position is a little more tenuous after a rough weekend against their rival. This weekend sends them to Bemidji where they must sweep or face dire PWR considerations.
2. Ohio State (15-3-0), 76 — Last poll: 2
- Last week: L 2-5 @ Minnesota Duluth (12/3), W 6-2 @ Minnesota Duluth (12/4)

- Coming Week: v Minnesota-Duluth (12/10, 12/11)/
While they remain unmoved from this position the Gophers are moving up in many voters ballots. Minnesota hopes taking five of six points off previously unanimous #1 Wisconsin, which made them this week’s ‘Belle’s of the Ball,’ will be a launching point for the remainder of the season.

- Last week: W 4-2 v Cornell (12/4), W 3-1 v Cornell (12/5)
