Team USA Announces November 2024 Rivalry Series Roster
Here's who will be representing Team USA when the 2024-25 Rivalry Series kicks off on Nov. 6.
Earlier today, USA Hockey unveiled its 26-player roster for the November leg of the 2024 Rivalry Series. The two additions to this roster, Gabbie Hughes and Ally Simpson, most recently played for Team USA in the 2023-24 Rivalry Series. Seventeen players are in the PWHL, while nine play in the NCAA.

While it did not end in a gold medal, the continued youth movement at Worlds was a big success for Team USA, and they are smart not to rock the boat much in this series. It’s difficult to build a new core when players are constantly being swapped out, so allowing these newer faces more time to play together against the stiffest competition will only help them improve. Canada’s roster has not been released yet, but if they continue to resist starting a youth movement as they have been, the U.S. will soon have a big advantage over them.
