USA Hockey has announced its roster for the February leg of the 2024-25 Rivalry Series. Ten players from November's roster are currently playing NCAA Division I college hockey and will not participate, which left a few open spots for management to fill.

Those unable to participate include Joy Dunne (Ohio State), Lacey Eden (Wisconsin), Laila Edwards (Wisconsin), Rory Guilday (Cornell), Caroline Harvey (Wisconsin), Tessa Janecke (Penn State), Abbey Murphy (Minnesota), Casey O'Brien (Wisconsin), Kirsten Simms (Wisconsin) and Haley Winn (Clarkson).

Players joining Team USA for this leg, for the most part, have previous women's national team experience, with the exception of Sydney Bard. The Boston Fleet defender is joined by Toronto Sceptres forward Jesse Compher, New York Sirens forward Gabby Rosenthal and Montréal Victoire defender Anna Wilgren.

The only real surprise on this roster: not seeing Minnesota Frost netminder Maddie Rooney on it. Rooney is one of the top goaltenders in the PWHL this season with a league-best 1.85 GAA and five wins. It's a bit surprising, then, to see Nicole Hensley remain on the roster instead. Hensley is 2-1-1 this season with a 3.37 GAA and .870 save percentage.
