Every PWHL team is hoping to get a boost from some players who have been struggling to start the season. With the season quickly approaching a third of the way through, now would be a great time for these players to start going off.

Bouncing back, or regressing to the mean, after slow starts is a staple of hockey. As watchers of hockey we know there are many factors that go into scoring goals, such as health, luck, systems, goaltender play, etc. We also know that eventually the skilled talented players will figure it out and bounce back after a slow start. Not every player does though due to a few factors, such as the aging curve finally catching up with them, or they never get fully healthy which keeps them from reaching their potential. Right now, every team is hoping to get a boost from some players who have been struggling to start the season. With the season quickly approaching a third of the way through, now would be a great time for these players to start going off.
