TIG Gaming: PWHL in NHL 25
The Ice Garden takes on NHL 25 with PWHL players making their video game debut
We're in the game!
As of Dec. 5, the PWHL has been part of EA Sports' NHL 25. All six teams are playable and players, logos, and uniforms are available in Hockey Ultimate Team (HUT). Fans can play for the Walter Cup and play as PWHL teams in other modes: Play Now, Online Versus, Shootout, and Season Modes. That's right, you can play out the entire PWHL season with your favorite team and battle to lift the Walter Cup.
The Ice Garden received two review copies of NHL 25 to test out the addition of the PWHL. We got a capture card, rolled up our sleeves, and got ourselves into the game.
Loren Gabel with an 82 wrist shot power? EIGHTY-TWO?! There's a lot to talk about, be overjoyed about, and be outraged about here. What matters most, of course, is that the PWHL and pro women's hockey is finally in the game.
