The rest of the season will be announced later
Rejoice college hockey fans as we finally have part of a conferences schedule!
The WCHA announced today the first month of their 2020-21 schedule, starting on Nov. 20 until Dec. 19. They will break for the holidays with play resuming “as early as Jan. 1,” according to the release. The rest of the season’s schedule will be released later.
Each team will play eight league games in the first month, four home and four away.
St. Cloud State will host Bemidji and Minnesota will host Duluth on the first day of play, Nov. 20. Times are listed as to be determined.

A big issue for the WCHA, that they have not been shy about admitting, is the gap in testing capabilities between the Big 10 schools (Ohio State, Minnesota, and Wisconsin) and the NSIC teams (Bemidji State, Minnesota Duluth, Minnesota State, and St. Cloud State). This portion of the schedule attempts to work around that by scheduling Big 10 versus Big 10 and NSIC against NSIC. The lone outlier to that is Minnesota Duluth who will Minnesota, Wisconsin, Minnesota State, and St. Cloud State.
Earlier today, Hockey East announced their start date as Nov. 20. Two ECAC schools - Clarkson and Quinnipiac - also announced a four-games series starting Nov. 28.
