The Pride’s struggles against the Beauts continued this weekend. The Beauts looked dominant the whole game as they hit Katie Burt with everything they had, for a total of 47 shots. The Pride, who struggled to enter the zone consistently, put up 21 shots. The two teams now sit tied in the standing in points at 16 each with 8 wins and 4 loses.

The tiebreakers in the NWHL are wins in regulation and overtime, head-to-head record, then goal differential. Right now, that gives the Beauts the advantage as they won the season series, 3 - 1.

Markham Thunder beat Les Canadiennes de Montreal in Markham; 2 - 1

Victoria Bach continued her tear of a rookie season by putting up the only two goals her team scored in the first game of the series. They proved to be all the Thunder needed as they handed Montreal their first regulation loss since Nov. 25. It was a hard fought victory all the way to down the final seconds where the Thunder faced an onslaught of shots.

Les Canadiennes de Montreal beat Markham Thunder in Markham; 6 - 2

Jill Saulnier put up four goals to lead Montreal in the second game of the weekend. Bach continued her ways as well, putting up another goal for number 15 on the season. She’s tied for second on the season with Ann-Sophie Bettez.
