Minnesota Whitecaps beat Buffalo Beauts in Minnesota; 3 - 2
Goals
- Whitecaps: Katie McGovern, Kate Schipper, Joanna Curtis
- Beauts: Maddie Elia, Taylor Accursi/
In the Battle of the Undefeateds, the Whitecaps stayed on top after the first game. Schipper’s goal was the first of her NWHL career. McGovern is the first player in the NWHL to score on Beauts goalie Shannon Szabados.
Metropolitan Riveters beat Boston Pride in Boston; 3 - 2

The Riveters finally got their first win of the season. Russo’s game winning goal came with three seconds left in the game. Miano’s goal was the first of her NWHL career.

Cameranesi’s goal was the first of her NWHL career. Schipper’s goal came less than 30 seconds into the game.

After this weekend, all teams except for the Blades and KRS Vanke Rays go on a two-week break for 4 Nations.

Of the 14 goals the Inferno scored, 12 different players scored for them, which is crazy. Blades veteran goaltender Lauren Dahm still has not started. Dahm seemed to struggle when she came into the game in the second period, giving up three goals in the first five minutes. She didn’t play the third.
