The PWHL season is well underway, but you may be wondering - where are the players who didn't make the cut this season? How are they doing?

Several players who were at PWHL training camps but ultimately did not make a team have since signed overseas, largely in the SDHL. A handful of others are still unsigned free agents.

Unsigned free agents: Lauren Bench, Marlène Boissonnault, Sydney Brodt, Tricia Deguire, Cami Kronish

Retired: Madison Packer announced her retirement from professional hockey on November 23.

Heading Overseas:

  • Madison Bizal has signed with SDE (SDHL), after attending New York Sirens training camp. The signing was announced on December 16.
  • Sarah Bujold: signed with Luleå HF (SDHL) after attending Montréal Victoire training camp. The signing was announced on December 2.
  • Alexa Gruschow signed with MoDo Hockey (SDHL) after attending New York Sirens training camp. The signing was announced on December 6.
  • Laura Kluge returned to Germany with Eisbären Juniors Berlin after attending Toronto's training camp. Her return to Germany was necessary to fulfill her military obligations. This season so far, she has nine points (4-5) in 10 games.
  • Allie Lehmann signed with HC Fribourg-Gottéron Ladies (SWHL A) after attending Ottawa Charge training camp. She has played seven games there with nearly 400 minutes of ice time, garnering a 2.85 GAA. She was also loaned to EHC Rot-Blau Bern-Bümpliz, a men's Swiss Division-2 team, where she appeared in three games with the team, averaging a 13.73 GAA.
  • Savannah Norcross signed with Luleå HF (SDHL) after attending New York Sirens camp. The signing was announced on December 3.
  • Maude Poulin-Labelle signed with Brynäs IF of the SDHL after attending Boston Fleet training camp. She's registered five points, including four assists, in just two games and is a plus-3 with eight shots on goal.
  • Audrey-Ann Veillette signed with HV71 of the SDHL after attending Ottawa's training camp.
